~CHANGES~

WoW! I don't even know where to begin.. A little overwhelmed at this time, but hoping for the best! So, here it goes

Mike and I SOLD our house.. YES-SOLD!!

One day we were just toying around with the idea of selling our home, and getting our "DREAM" home since the market is still pretty good right now. So we decided to call one of Mike's buddies that is a realtor to come put our house up. I'm still not sure what we were thinking.. Our realtor came over on a Friday to take some pics and have us sign papers to list our home.. We got a call Saturday that someone wanted to come look at(I got a bit nervous, not knowing if this was the right thing to do) they came and looked at it. Mike and I (being the creepers that we are) watched the entire time while they went through our home. *we have a camera with our security system* It was awesome-little did we know, that as they were going through, they grabbed a manilla envelope that was on our counter and opened it up! I was like "what the heck" so now you people that are selling or ever want to sell your home, put things away because people WILL go through them.. Anyway- the weekend went by quick and we got a call Sunday, asking if someone could look at our house Monday around 12 or so..we def never said NO, due to the fact that we wanted to take every chance possible to sell. Around 5:00 our realtor calls me-I was anxiously waiting to see what they thought of the home(we were supposed to have 3 showings that day) he then proceeded to tell me that they made an offer...My heart sank and I was in SHOCK! Tons of things were running through my mind-"were we supposed to sell this home? what are we going to do next? where are we going to live? how much time do we have till we have to get out? 

I called Mike on three-way so we could all be on the call-after talking about things, we accepted the offer! 

So now, Mike and I have been busy looking for a home-we wanted to build but decided that we can wait to do that a little later.. 

We have found a couple houses we like, but went out tonight and found one we LOVE.. So everyone PLEASE keep your fingers crossed and pray for us that we get this home.. It's in Herriman!!

I'm going to MISS this home so much, but I'm excited for the NEW memories we will make!

HOLY MAJOR UPDATE

Goodness, I'm usually really good at keeping up with my blog-I def have been slacking MAJOR.. I don't even think I have pictures for everything.

October: Jaxxon wanted to dress up like a Pirate, and so we all did. We had a party with one of Mike's Co-Managers and we had so much fun! We did our usual-eat chili at Mike's Grandparents house and then out we went Trick-or-Treating. It was so much fun this year because Jaxx actually knew what was going on. 

November: The month flew by-We had Thanksgiving at Mike's Aunts house this year. It's so nice to be able to take turns with each side(it's only fair) I love all his Aunts and cousins-it's so fun when we all get together. It's getting a little hectic because there is soooo many, but we have great memories. 

December: Christmas came faster than expected.. I swear that month seemed like it was only 2 days(probably because I had Christmas decor up after Thanksgiving) Christmas was so much fun this year, again Jaxxon really got into it. We set out a cookie and milk for Santa, and Mike and I had walked out to check on Jaxx, and he found a hiding spot with Santa's cookie in hand and it was almost finished :( We had to get Santa a new one. 

Well that pretty much sums up 3 months of our lives hahaha

Oh and 1 more thing: We're going to MIAMI again this year... I hope it was better than last :)

Jaxxon's 2nd Birthday Party!

FINALLY we were able to have Jaxx's Birthday Party. His birthday was in Aug, but since we were still in Florida-we had to wait. The entire month of Sept was CRAZY busy, and not 1 weekend open, so we shot for Oct 13th. We invited all our family over to enjoy the afternoon. Mike and I rented a HUGE slide and obstacle course that was a HIT. I think the DAD's had more fun than the kids did. Jaxx got lots of trucks, cars, and airplanes-and some pretty cute outfits from my parents. I'm so glad the weather cooperated with us-it was a bit chilly, but that didn't stop us from having a GREAT party!

*DISNEYLAND*

This post isn't something you haven't seen before.. We did our annual Disneyland trip last week, and arrived home yesterday. It was a blast!! Nothing like going to the Happiest Place On Earth with the ones you love the most. It is so much fun when you have a little one that lights up at the little things. Jaxxon was tall enough to ride the roller coaster in Toon Town, and can I say that he rode that thing about 10 times. Every morning he'd wake up and say "I go to Disneyland and ride the roller coaster" How can you say NO to that... 

Now I must say that the ride back home was not so fun! We wanted to leave early in the morning so we could get home a little early-well Friday night, Jaxx didn't have a good night-so we ended up leaving around 7:30am. On the road we went, and maybe 45 min into the drive, Jaxx throws up all over! I was dry heaving, and Mike was grabbing Jaxx out of his seat with throw up all over, and also dry heaving a little as well.. Finally got that cleaned up-then we pull into a gas station about 15 min out of Baker and our car battery dies.. The darn thing was so dead, we couldn't even jump start it.. 2 hours later(while baking in the sun) we finally found a place that would drive the battery to us and install it where we were... Let's just say-I may NEVER drive again, until Jaxx can handle sitting in the car that long :) All in all, we had a GREAT TRIP!!

My Baby Turns 2

Where has the time gone..? On Sunday our sweet Jaxxon turned 2 years old! I can't believe 2 years has already come and gone so quickly. It seemed like yesterday that I just got out of the hospital, with that little bundle of joy. Jaxxon is such a sweet blessing in our home. This kid comes up with some of the funniest things, and yet I don't even know where he gets them from. Jaxxon loves watching Football, and playing with his Basketball Hoop, loves playing with cars and loves talking on the phone.. Jaxxon loves to also watch videos on the Ipad, and he knows exactly how to get to Youtube and knows where to find the videos that we've previously watched. Some of the things he likes doing here in Florida is taking walks and looking for the 100's of Lizards and Frogs that are everywhere, and the TOP on his list is Airplanes.. Not one time have we been in the car or outside, and he not mention to look for Airplanes-I'm not sure what it is but he loves them. We've spent some time at the airport here, and they have a waiting area where you can go super close to the planes and watch them land and take off-He was HEAVEN..
We def don't know what our life would be without him.. We love ya bug and HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY

BooMers/The End

We LOVE BooMers.. More so for Jaxxon, but it's a fun outing for the family. Boomers is a BIG arcade place-pretty much a little kids heaven(besides Disneyland of course) Mike and I enjoy showing Jaxx the "cooler" games so you get more tickets. We've probably gotten over 3,000 tickets at this place. I love going to the prize booth, and watching Jaxx light up with the big variety they have.

 The summer is quickly coming to an end-it's kind of bitter sweet.. I'm ready to go home, but I'm not. We really have some fun ladies in the office this year! I told them that we needed to have play dates when we all get back to Utah.. Needless to say I'm ready for this hot weather to be OVER, and for the SNOW to come. I'd rather be Cold and get warm, then HOT and trying to stay cool..

*FLORIDA KEYS*

This last weekend we were invited by the Barnes family down to the Florida Keys.. We weren't sure if we wanted to go at first. We knew it'd be fun, but we hadn't had a ton of sleep and they were planning on leaving at 6:30 Sunday morning.. Saturday night Mike and I were just talking about what we should do-As we were getting ready to go to bed around 1:30, I txt Valentine and told her we'd be joining them. Mike and I didn't get to bed until 2:30ish and either did Jaxx. (I'm def going to be in trouble when we get home, so I need to get him on a better schedule) Sunday morning we got up just fine-the drive was about 3 1/2 hours.. Luckily Jaxx slept all the way their and all the way back. Mike and I were def shocked that it wasn't all it's cracked up to be. We drove the 7 mile bridge, looked at some shops, went to the beach, but it def wasn't what the pics show.. I'm not too sure if we were just in a "ghetto" location, but I was a little bummed out but all in all it was a good fun trip. It was fun playing a car game with Mike, and we had a few laughs of what we'd name businesses down in good ol Key West... Def don't think I can share these names on here hahahaha
