Merry Christmas!

WoW has the time flown by. We had a wonderful Christmas filled with family, food, each other, and everything in between..
Santa worked so hard in his workshop for this little man of ours! I'm sure he may have gone overboard just a bit, but it was well worth it.. We had a busy schedule this last week-Family parties Friday, Saturday, and Sunday but we enjoyed the company of everyone. I woke up Christmas morning, went and saw what Santa brought, and turned the lights on. I came back and woke the boys up-it was about 8:15(we usually sleep in til about 11 no joke) but we had church to go to as well-so we needed to start early. When Jaxxon walked out he spotted his Cars car and said "Ca" he wanted us to open it right away so he could play with it. We told him he had lots of presents to open, and then after we were done he could play with it. Santas BIG gift was behind closed doors.. When we allowed him to open the door, he was in HEAVEN.. Slide, Tramp, TV, Basketball Hoop, Mickey Couch, and a Cars Chair- he couldn't decide what to explore first.. (The slide it was)
After our church meeting, we went to my parents, and the kids opened their gifts, and we had YUMMY food and great company.. I love the Holidays, especially Christmas-I Love reflecting on the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.. I'm so Thankful for him and the sacrifices he made for me. I can't even imagine what he had to go through.
All in All we had a wonderful Holiday.. Til New Years :)
Cheers!

Bring It On!!

The Holidays have come and are leaving very quickly.. I love this time of year though-Great Food, Family, Presents, and Reflecting on our Savior! I'm so Thankful for the Awesome family we have. We have enjoyed a family Christmas Party that was held at our home for Mikes side.. It was a ton of fun-the kids were spoiled with lots of gifts, and the Adults were spoiled with food, and watching the kids open all their gifts.
Mike and I have the opportunity to Sub for Santa for a family friend that is very dear to my heart. This special family is going through a trial I couldn't bare. I couldn't even begin to think what I would do. My brothers Best Friend has a Brain Tumor, and has beat it once, but it has since then come back stronger and terminal. He was supposed to die around Halloween but has been a miracle and is still living today. The Drs are shocked that he is still alive.. When Mike and I had visited with him-he was at his lowest point. He could barely talk, couldn't walk, his entire left side was dead.. They had hospice at his home 4 times a day to help him. 2 weeks ago, we saw him at church-and he was walking by himself, he could talk normal, and he obviously could feel his left side! What faith he has in the Lord! He has strengthened both Mike n I in ways he will never understand.
Mike and I can't get everything on their list, but enough to make their Christmas special..
This week is a busy one! Mike actually went shopping by himself yesterday for their gifts, we still have to wrap and deliver them, and we have parties-Friday, Saturday and Sunday...
I'll have to upload some pics of the festivities as they approach.
Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!

~First Haircut~

Mike and I have been putting this day off for awhile. We wanted Jaxx to have longer hair-not shaggy, but just a cute long. He had really fine hair, with a bit of curl in the back. It finally got to a point where we couldn't spike, or really do anything with it.
Now that it is done, he looks even cuter if that's at all possible. He was so good while sitting in the airplane, watching cartoons..
After we were all done, he received a balloon and a sucker.. :( I can't believe how fast he is growing up!!

*Project*

These last couple of days, Mike and I have been working on a project together. We had seen this done before in homes and decided that maybe it was something we could do ourselves.. With a bit of research and me being addicted to PINTEREST-we got the job done.
We did beadboard on our Kitchen Island. It was a lot of work, but after some painting, cutting, gluing and nailing it in-we're finished. I'm so pleased at how it turned out. I never knew something would make such a huge difference..
Here is the BEFORE and AFTER pic!

Just A Test!

So I'm using my phone to see of this really works.. Here are some pics that I needed to update!

SLACKER!!

Holy Cow! I never knew honestly how far behind I was/am. I was trying to upload some pics, but it's taking forever-so pics will follow shortly.
Things have been so crazy around here. I don't think I've been too busy, but I guess I have been because the blog is not updated. I'll try to cover everything to here I go:
OCTOBER:
Halloween came and left so quickly. We enjoyed seeing our families, and taking Jaxxon trick or treating for his first time. He LOVED it!! We dressed him up as a Dragon-and he surprisingly kept the hat thingy on. He loved going to the houses and watching them drop the treats inside, then running to the next with his cousins.
Jaxxon has the cutest personality, and he's getting smarter and smarter every day.
NOVEMBER:
I just can't believe how fast the holidays are coming and going.. It's so sad! I feel like I've only been home from the summer for 2 months, and pretty soon we'll be back out again. I do LOVE to travel all over, and especially grateful to travel as a family.
Thanksgiving was spent with my side of the family. We take turns every year with both sides so it's fair. We had YUMMY food.. Why is it that Thanksgiving has the BEST food ALWAYS!!? Why can't we eat like that every day-I already know the answer to that, so don't even answer it... :)
We've done some upgrades to our kitchen again-believe me when I say that it was beautiful before, but now with these little touches it's LOVELY... It took a lot of work to do this project-it's not all the way finished, but I want to thank Mike for taking his time and having patience while doing all the work...
I think I've learned to have more patience these last couple months- Jaxxon has been doing all sorts of things, that sometimes makes me wanna pull my hair out-but at the end of the day-he enjoyed doing whatever he does. Jaxx is saying so many words I can't believe it. Here is some of his favorites..
Santa
Ights(lights)
Ya
PAPA(grandpa)
Goggie(Doggie)
Deer
Cheese
Etos(Cheetos)
Mo(more)
Poop
Yum
Momma
Daddy
tairs(down stairs)
side(outside)
EIEIO(he has a little farm that sings)
oos(shoes)
tay(okay)
der(there or here)
He LOVES getting into everything and he stills loves Mickey Mouse... We've finally got him to like Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and we also watch the OLD Rudolph over and over again....
Anywho: That is all I can think of for now-We're so excited for Christmas, and we're getting ready for all of Jaxx toys to be set up to see that Awesome smile on his face..
Pics will follow once I get them loaded!!
