Coming To An End!!

Well, the summer is finally coming to an end. It seems like we've been out here a very long time! There has defiantly been some crazy times out here, and made me realize that some people are just not supposed to be in your life(let's just leave it at all) 

Mike has been working so hard to get his goals, and has worked so hard to help his guys out. I'm sure he is just thrilled to only have about 5 weeks left until he gets a break for awhile. Jaxx and I have been trying to stay busy all day. We don't have a car, so we try and go to the pool when we can, or walk to the park! It's "hurricane" season down here, so the weather hasn't been the best, but we try and stay entertained. Jaxx and I will be flying back home on the 15th so that I can take him to his preschool orientation, and also for us to move into our home! I'm sad that Mike won't be able to experience the whole setting everything up, but I'm sure I won't be done when he gets back. Mike will be flying home on the 5th, to be at Jaxxon's first day of school, and then we will be celebrating his birthday on the 7th-after that Mike flys back to Florida on the 9th and will drive home around the 15th. It's going to be a crazy busy next couple of weeks, but I'm so excited to make new memories in our home and get settled into a place where we'll be forever. We can't wait to see our family and friends and our pups(I miss them like craZy) Thanks to my Wonderful parents for taking them this summer, I don't know what I'd do without them. We'll have to treat them to a nice dinner(even though that won't be enough). Stay tuned for pics of our house once the chaos starts-it's crazy to think that we've only seen pictures of it.. I may just cry when I see it in person!!

Grandma's In Town and DisneyWorld!!

This past week Mike's mom came down to visit.. Although we were wishing the weather was a tid bit better, we had fun! We picked her up on the 26th around 11pm, only to finally leave the airport at 12:30(they airline put her luggage on a later flight) so they had it delivered to our place the next morning. It arrived around 1:30(luckily she showered :) Jk)

We had to go to our famous smoothies place HM Smoothies.. They have a FABULOUS one that is chocolate and peanut butter mmmm So Good! We also ran to the store to grab a couple of things. Jaxx n I took Jolene to the little kid water park and spent most of a day there. Saturday came around(Mike had to work at 9) and he sent me a txt around 11 and asked if we should go to DisneyWorld..not thinking I said, I guess-I know your mom wants to go to the beach too.. Little did I know, she'd take DisneyWorld over the beach any day. I had some points left on my Marriott Rewards card and I booked us a free night about 15 min from the park. It was the nicest hotel I've stayed in/seen! I wish we could've spent more time hanging out. Sunday morning we got up early and headed to the park. The highlight of the trip-I think everyone would agree was... We got all ready and Jaxx all of a sudden started freaking out crying, none of us knew what the heck was wrong, so Mike picked him up-and in a teary voice Jaxx said "I want to go to Disneyland(disneyworld) he was so excited he couldn't hold in his emotions.. It was the cutest thing i'd ever seen! The day started so nice, and rained on and off-but that didn't stop us from having a blast. Jaxx was able to go on Splash Mountain this trip-I believe he enjoyed the first time, but chickened out the 2nd which is fine-the dang hill scares me too :) I still think Disneyland is better than DisneyWorld(just saying)

All in All we had a great time when Grandma was here- We can't wait to get back to Utah! 

WISHING...

Life down here in Florida is good. We are in Hurricane season at the moment, so it rains almost daily-about 90% actually. I'm hoping it clears soon, so Jaxx and I can hit up the pool again on a daily basis. This summer has been extremely hard! I'm not sure if it's because I don't feel like I'm accomplishing anything, or because we have a NEW HOME waiting for us when we get back to Utah. (I'm sure it's the New Home)
The other day, Mike had mentioned to me that Jaxx and I could fly home for a week to move our things in..As I've been looking for flights, they are just too expensive to fly home for a week, for the price! I just don't think it is worth it. I'm thinking to just go home a little earlier in Aug, and get things going. I don't want to be rushed with time-since Jaxx starts school and then Mike will be getting home from here. I also have to plan a Birthday Party for Jaxx, so I don't want this to be an overwhelming experience. I have found a flight for Jaxx and I for $180.00 so I'm going to talk to Mike and see if he'll let me book it before it goes up in price.
Things are going well for us down here. Mike is working hard to be successful this year, and accomplishing his goals that he set for himself! I'm so grateful for all his hard work, and all he does to provide for our family. I'll try to get some pics up on here-We just haven't really been doing anything, but hopefully that changes. Hope everyone is doing well, and we can't wait to see you all!!

Finally Finished!!

So, our home is finally finished! It was a short process actually-a little shorter than I liked-but the house looks beautiful. I was always skeptical with colors, because it was so hard to imagine how'd they look-when seeing them on a tiny sample.. Here is our home!! Can't Wait To Move In

It's been a bit hectic around here, not sure where to start.. In my last post, I posted about us selling our home! We were looking at different homes, and put an offer on one that we liked. They came back and accepted our offer, but we got to thinking and decided to back out. We are now in the process of building our "Dream Home". It's been so fun watching it go up from dirt, to now a house.. We will be living in Herriman(about 5 min from my older sister) The location is perfect for us, and close to Mike's work! Right now we are living with my parents until we leave for the summer. Our house will be finished in June, but we have to wait till the end of Aug to move into it. I'm hoping that Mike will let me come home early, and move our things in. He'll be driving back from Miami, so I think it'd be nice to have everything done so that he can come home and relax(KEEPING MY FINGERS CROSSED) Here are some pics of our home-
Other than that, we're exactly the same.. Jaxx is getting so excited to start Preschool in Sept, we already bought him a Ninja Turtle Green BackPack- right now he is obsessed with the color Green-kinda cute.. He sure tests my patients, but I love him more than ever!! Mike has been working so hard lately, seems like we never see him. So grateful for his hard work, and all he does to provide for us.. Love him to pieces too :)

~CHANGES~

WoW! I don't even know where to begin.. A little overwhelmed at this time, but hoping for the best! So, here it goes

Mike and I SOLD our house.. YES-SOLD!!

One day we were just toying around with the idea of selling our home, and getting our "DREAM" home since the market is still pretty good right now. So we decided to call one of Mike's buddies that is a realtor to come put our house up. I'm still not sure what we were thinking.. Our realtor came over on a Friday to take some pics and have us sign papers to list our home.. We got a call Saturday that someone wanted to come look at(I got a bit nervous, not knowing if this was the right thing to do) they came and looked at it. Mike and I (being the creepers that we are) watched the entire time while they went through our home. *we have a camera with our security system* It was awesome-little did we know, that as they were going through, they grabbed a manilla envelope that was on our counter and opened it up! I was like "what the heck" so now you people that are selling or ever want to sell your home, put things away because people WILL go through them.. Anyway- the weekend went by quick and we got a call Sunday, asking if someone could look at our house Monday around 12 or so..we def never said NO, due to the fact that we wanted to take every chance possible to sell. Around 5:00 our realtor calls me-I was anxiously waiting to see what they thought of the home(we were supposed to have 3 showings that day) he then proceeded to tell me that they made an offer...My heart sank and I was in SHOCK! Tons of things were running through my mind-"were we supposed to sell this home? what are we going to do next? where are we going to live? how much time do we have till we have to get out? 

I called Mike on three-way so we could all be on the call-after talking about things, we accepted the offer! 

So now, Mike and I have been busy looking for a home-we wanted to build but decided that we can wait to do that a little later.. 

We have found a couple houses we like, but went out tonight and found one we LOVE.. So everyone PLEASE keep your fingers crossed and pray for us that we get this home.. It's in Herriman!!

I'm going to MISS this home so much, but I'm excited for the NEW memories we will make!
